LoAnn T. Stallmo, 82

LoAnn T. Stallmo, 82, of East Grand Forks, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026 at HIA Heather’s House in Fargo, ND.

LoAnn Thilnor Johnson was born April 21, 1943 in Grand Forks, ND to Clarence and Florence (Bolstad) Johnson. LoAnn grew up in East Grand Forks and graduated from Central High School in 1961. Following that, she attended Nursing School in Crookston graduating with her LPN. She worked for five years at the Grand Forks Clinic. On September 29, 1962, LoAnn married the love of her life Richard Stallmo at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of East Grand Forks. There they made their home and raised their two children Wayde and Jean Ann. LoAnn managed the office of the business she shared with her husband, Grand Forks Fire Equipment, working beside him every day for 42 years. She was an active member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church serving in many capacities, a member of a Ladies Card Club and a proud hockey mom and Grandma. Together they enjoyed traveling to Branson and Texas to spend time with friendsOrville and Karen Anderson & Family. 

LoAnn is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years Richard Stallmo of East Grand Forks; children Wayde Stallmo of East Grand Forks and Jean Ann (Dacian) Bienek of Crookston; brother Myron (Dana) Johnson of East Grand Forks; grandchildren Shantay (Lance) Furrow, Lillie Ann Stallmo and Aleah Bienek; great-granddaughter Ava Furrow; niece Lani Fay (Seth) Borsvold, nephew Jon Johnson; and great-niece and nephew Clara and Henry Borsvold.  She was preceded in death by her parents and twin brothers Milo and Miles.

FUNERAL: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 11, 2026 also at Our Saviors Lutheran Church with additional visitation starting one hour before. Funeral will be live-streamed on LoAnn’s page at www.dandahlfuneralhome.com.
