City to increase some winter recreation fees

(Photo by Bruce Brierley) The City heard a proposal from Jeremy King, parks and recreation superintendent, bat the August 13 work session that would raise the participation fees for older students this winter but remain the same for entry-level programs. The 2024 revenue budget for hockey is $115,000 and actual income in 2023 was $96,596.03. The 2024 revenue budget for figure skating is $45,000 the actual income in 2023 was $36,287.06.
