Budget cuts approved at ISD 595

(photo by Bruce Brierley) Due to budget deficits a resolution to reduce and discontinue education programs and positions was approved by the school board at their April 8 meeting. Included in the cuts were 5% of the total Athletics Budget, an increase of student fees 1 Preschool Teacher Position, . 3 Preschool Paraprofessional Positions, 1.5 Food Service Positions, 1 AIE/A&I Coordinator Position, 1 Director of Special Education/Principal, 1 Assistant Principal, 2 Social Worker Positions, 1 School Counselor Position, 1 SP Art Position, and All Seasonal Summer Maintenance Positions.
