Melodee A. Weber, 68

Melodee A. Weber, 68, of East Grand Forks, MN passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024 surrounded by family at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Melodee Ann Weber was born June 21, 1955 in Grand Forks, North Dakota to Arthur and Margaret (Wick) Choate. Melodee grew up in East Grand Forks and graduated from East Grand Forks Senior High School in 1973. On February 28, 1980, she married George Weber. They had two daughters, Amy and Andrea.

Melodee’s four grandchildren were the light of her life. She looked forward to get togethers with the bunco girls and staying in touch with coworkers from Norby’s department store.

Melodee is survived by her husband of 43 years, George Weber of East Grand Forks, MN; daughters Amy (Mark) McDonald of East Grand Forks, MN, and Andrea (Tyler) Hein of Fargo, ND; grandchildren Morgan and Alexis McDonald of East Grand Forks, MN and Natalie and Ethan Hein of Fargo, ND; brother Mark Choate of Grand Forks, ND; nephew Christopher (Kellie) Choate of Grand Forks, ND, and many more nieces and nephews on the Weber side of the family. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Margaret Choate; father and mother-in-law George and Marie Weber; brother-in-law Dennis Weber.
